Snowy Film Love- Kelley's Portrait Session
Instead of doing my usual Film Scan of the Day, I did a mini portrait session with my childhood friend Kelley. I wanted to catch up on my 365 (I may have been cheating a little bit), so we went out wandering the day after a huge snowstorm.
I am actually starting to really enjoy using the Mamiya c330f TLR. After getting it, I was skeptical, but I've learned to adapt my shooting workflow to this magical little camera. Shooting in a square format is completely different than shooting anything else composition wise. Shooting with the 645 is just like shooting with most SLRs, so adapting was a piece of cake. The look of film is so yummy. The amount of time I spend editing on all of these images? 30 seconds. Love it!
Film notes: Kodak Portra 400 & Fuji 400h. Mamiya c330f w/ 80mm 2.8 along with Mamiya 645AFD w/80mm 2.8 and 50mm 2.8. Scanned by Indie Film Lab.
