Becky and Kenny- A Frying Pan Park Portrait Session

I mostly photograph weddings, but it is nice to do something a bit different for a change.I've known Becky since forever. I grew up with her and her younger sister Maggie, who is my age. They lived right across the street so we probably ended up hanging out almost every day. Now, we're all grown up. Both Maggie and Becky have husbands and kids. Becky lives in Utah, but does come back to good ol' Virginia to visit. Yesterday, we went to Frying Pan Park in Herndon, VA for a mini portrait session with her and 5-month-old, Kenny. Kenny is absolutely adorable, and he is one of the most laid back babies I've ever met.

Here are some of my favorites:

Jennie and Matt - A Georgetown Engagement Session

Jennie is a art teacher and Matt is a youth minister. They both have vibrant personalities, great senses of humor, and the biggest hearts I've ever seen. They have mastered the art of Skype dates and crossing multiple state lines just to see each other. They may have met on E-Harmony, but their love for each other is as genuine as it gets, and it never has stopped growing. He makes her smile even when she is determined not to. When they're together, you can't help but notice how perfect they are for each other.Jennie and Matt traveled to Georgetown for their engagement session. It was quite the adventure between playing frogger for the perfect photo, getting yelled at by security for standing on a driveway, and taking a photo with a dead sexy car. They were an amazing couple to work with especially letting me try out some ideas that have been floating around in my head for months.

Jennie and Matt- I cannot wait for your wedding this spring!!

Also a huge thank you goes to Katy and Liz for being my voice activated light stands and extra hands! Things wouldn't have gone so smoothly without you backing me up!
